Yesterday the Leopold Hotel Sheffield came to the Electric Works – yes, complete with an actual full Leopold bed and a stunning Afternoon Tea display. Situated in the central snug area we caused a stir and not just with the tea.
From 12.30pm we gave employees and representatives from the various companies based within this very quirky office environment a chance to see for themselves what the Leopold Hotel has to offer. A great day was had by all and we received, not only a few raised eyebrows, but great feedback on our new Spring Afternoon Tea Menus which are complete with smoked salmon blini’s and mouth-watering fillings such as cucumber and mint butter.

Since Anna, the 7th Duchess of Bedford had ‘that sinking feeling’ mid-afternoon in the late 19th century and started inviting around friends to join her for a light refreshments, afternoon tea has rapidly become a great British institution.
Here at the Leopold Hotel we are overcoming ‘that sinking feeling’ with our all new menu for a lazy afternoon in either the wonderful setting of the hotel, formerly the Central Technical School, or if the great British weather permits, take advantage of our sun drenched terrace in Leopold Square.
